What a big lie I was in one of these hospitals in El Paso Texas right after I woke up from a coma and the staff were horrible they hit me and treated me horribly they disrespected me neglected me and they would play tricks on me just to make me feel horrible and I know it's not something that I was hallucinating because my sister ended up taking a video when it happened and also pictures of them doing the horrible things they were I'm suing as soon as I can

If your loved one needs nursing care at Kindred, be prepared to stay night and day and watch the nurses closely. Only about a third of them are well-trained, responsive, and know how to use the facility's antiquated equipment and supplies. The other two-thirds are sloppy, inattentive, and don't really care. I know from personal experience. Better yet, go someplace else. If you can find someplace else, that is.

I can answer that yes some people can get it twice three times 100 percent of people recover to some degree 80 percent get back 100 percent 15 percent get back but not fully 5 percent get it twice not everyone is better in the same amt of time

@johnhironimus5748 very true. When my dad got it, a woman in the hospital had been suffering for over 2 years with it. Daddy said, no, i won't do that. He was paralyzed and begged me for a gun, and I told him absolutely not. You will beat this, and laughingly said, deer season is coming, you need to go hunting. He told his Dr he would walk out of there in 2 months. He had to get a deer for us. The Dr said, ok, sure. Dad said don't talk down to me, I will. 2 months later he walked out, he was on a walker, was very weak, but he walked out. The Dr said I don't believe it! Daddy said I told you I was walking out.

No comments because they have been scrubbed! This place is a death house. Where did you get all the English speaking doctors in this video, who appear to be white? Everyone we met was a barely English speaking foreigner. I was married to a Bangladeshi myself, and was an ethnomusicologist, but I could never understand half of the staff at Kindred Westminster. If you ask a question, the answer is "I don't know". We only had two meetings with doctors in 18 months. They do not do physical therapy, but bill for it. They had to pay a huge government fine for this behavior in the past. They do not decannulated trachs, but brag that they do. They bill not for treatment based on the patients' best interests, but rather care only for the highest reimbursement rate, even if it hurts the patient. I could write a novel about the KINDRED Business Model...and I.might just do it. Instead of cleaning up their act, they are spreading this cancer to once excellent acute care hospitals they have partnered with. I worked 34 years in academic medicine and in administration, so I know how it is done. And it is 180 degrees away from the KINDRED model who posts patients' rights on the elevators, along with their lofty, but 100 % fraudulent patient care goals. This place needs to be closed down. And they will cherry pick your loved one for transfer based on their assets, and care acuity. They even have a particular person that scours the acute care hospitals all over Orange County, based on wealth and acuity of condition. Stay away for the sake of your loved one

I received a phone call today that my son was being transferred to the Coral Gables Facility in a day or so. He has been in the hospital since mid-November 2022. An administrative nurse, Pedro, gave me a detailed and clear explanation of what will be happening next in my son's process. I need to comment on his patience, empathy, and understanding of what my family and I are going through. Thank you so much. Talking to him gave me a sense of peace and hope. I know my son is in good hands.

RT ia the only strong department in Kindred Paramount and the only continuity of care. One part of the puzzle. the rest, like nursing all stink. Even Admin does nothing. I have tried and tried. Most people who complain get tied down. So, you need to be careful as the poor souls scream out, "help me" and "I am in pain, please" from people who are competent. This place is a horror show. Just bring your kids here for halloween and scare them to death at how the future of healthcare is. I encourage all to calll the compliance line or corporate number and let the executive team know they suck!
